"HOW DOES THIS WORK?
So what happens when you call us or fill out the form to the
right?
1. After contacting us, we'll need you to provide some information about your
home, it's condition, it's financing, your situation, and how you think we can
help you. You can provide that information by filling out the form on the right
side of the web page. Or, if you'd prefer to give the information to a live
person, you can call us on the toll free phone number listed to the left side
of the web page. Be prepared to briefly discuss your situation and give some
basic information about the home. We want to understand your needs and be able
to provide you with several options.
2. After we get your initial information, we'll do some preliminary research
on your home and typically contact you by phone within one business day with
several options and purchase price ranges based on how you've described the
home's condition.
3. If our range sounds like something you can work with, we'll arrange a time
to meet you at the home to inspect it (which takes about 10-30 minutes, depending
on its size), and discuss your options. At that time we can provide you with
an exact purchase price based on the purchase option you choose. All decision
makers and owners need to be present at this time. Paperwork will be available
at that time to review and complete.
4. Closing can be completed within days or months (you can choose the exact
date). If you need to "rent back", we can accommodate. If you need
help moving, we can provide it. If you need to dispose of some items, we'll
take care of it. We make it easy. All you have to do is show up for closing,
which is done through a local closing attorney NOT employed by our company.
If you live out of town, the closing attorney can FedEx the documents to you,
so you don't even have to show up! You get your money from closing from the
closing attorney in the timeframe outlined by state law (each state is different).
PLEASE NOTE that these timeframes do not apply if you owe more than your house
is worth. If that is the case, we will need to work with your bank to provide
a settlement on your account so you can sell it (a.k.a. "short sale"
your home). This process is bank dependent and could take months. Please
